Data and Systems Administrator
35 hours/week, permanent, full-time
Salary range: £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
Reporting to: Finance & Operations Manager
The Charlie Waller Trust is a charity committed to supporting young people to look after their mental health. We're looking for an experienced Data and Systems Administrator to help us reach new audiences and transform the way we work.
The charity has started on a digital transformation journey and a dedicated role is required to support the current implementation of digital solutions (new website, CRM, finance solution and intranet). The role will be key in further developing and implementing the charity’s digital strategy in consultation with the Communications Director, Finance and Operations Manager, management team and staff.
As this is a new post, there is an opportunity to shape the role, and the right candidate will play a key part in making sure the Trust and its activities are serviced with robust, reliable and up-to-date evidence and information.
About the Charlie Waller Trust
The Charlie Waller Trust was founded in 1997 in memory of Charlie Waller, who suffered from depression and took his own life at the age of 28. His parents, the Rt Hon Sir Mark Waller and Lady Waller, set up the Trust in his memory.
Our vision is of a world where people understand and talk openly about depression, where young people know how to maintain mental wellbeing, and where the most appropriate treatment is available to everyone who needs it.
The role is based at the Trust’s office in Thatcham, Berkshire; however, we are following government guidelines for COVID-19 and working from home except for tasks that cannot be carried out that way. In the longer term, there may be options for some continued home working.
The Charlie Waller Trust is a great place to work – we are a small office team so the successful applicant will need to be a flexible team player and happy to undertake tasks across the charity that fall outside the role’s main remit, as and when required.
We welcome applications from people with a diversity of backgrounds.
- Access to a pension scheme, into which we pay 3%.
- 20 working days plus public holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year (and 2 extra days after two years’ service + 1 day per additional year, up to a maximum of 5)
- Access to a comprehensive ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing Plan’ (with a designated wellbeing lead and champion) – the aim of which is to help keep all staff mentally well and to support them through periods of poor mental health.
- Regular office activities such as team lunches, craft sessions and other team activities
- Free parking
