The Charlie Waller Trust, a dynamic and growing mental health charity, is recruiting a Workplace Programme Officer to support the development and delivery of our new consultancy model to employers. Our Workplace Programme, which is led by our Workplace Director and includes a team of part-time training consultants, advocates a whole-organisation approach to embed positive mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.
We’re seeking a conscientious self-starter with strong organisational and IT skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to conduct desk-based research. You’ll be the first point of contact for our workplace customers, so will have previous experience in a customer-facing role and possess excellent communication skills You’ll undertake a wide range of duties to support our Workplace Director and the day-to-day running of the Workplace Programme. There will be opportunities to develop and enhance your skills and obtain a good understanding of the sector. This is a new, exciting and varied role as part of a busy, but very friendly, small team, and your enthusiasm will be key. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in mental health issues, particularly in the workplace, and will demonstrate a commitment to the objectives of our charity.
The role is a full-time position based at the Trust’s head office in Thatcham, Berkshire. However, in line with current government restrictions, the role will be home-based where possible. Longer term, there may be opportunities for some continued home working.
