Key aspects of this role will include:

  • Training and mentoring support: supporting our growing team with the delivery of a full range of fundraising activities on behalf of Chell Perkins’ clients, assisting in high-quality trust applications, strategy formation work, event management, direct mail appeals, online giving campaigns, major donor/corporate fundraising and research activities.

  • Line management responsibilities: logistically supporting the developing fundraising team, managing contract timings and conducting work reviews.

  • Client liaison: supporting staff to ensure that all of our clients are looked after and receive excellent communication throughout their contract(s)

  • Business development: being an ambassador for our company, promoting our business and attending networking/sector events on our behalf

  • Fundraising delivery: you will also manage your own small client case-load

At all times the candidate successful with this role will comply with regulations affecting fundraising, including (but not exclusively) guidelines from the Fundraising Regulator and Information Commissioner's Office. The Head of Fundraising may also be required to assist in the delivery of training and mentoring packages directly to clients.

Chell Perkins Ltd… Who are we?

There are thousands of charities throughout the UK with the most amazing vision for transforming the lives of those in their communities. However, unfortunately some of these charities are unable to unlock the full potential of their vision due to a lack of finances, resources and/or fundraising expertise. At the heart of it, Chell Perkins Ltd exists to make a very real and lasting impact on the third sector through increasing the availability of high quality fundraising. We achieve this by identifying, partnering with and nurturing the next generation of potential fundraisers to see all charities have access to bespoke, effective and affordable fundraising support.

Before forming Chell Perkins Ltd, we were fortunate to work for charities passionate about developing their staff. They offered us training, sharpened our fundraising skills, challenged us, and invested in our ability to fundraise well.

For the last four years, Chell Perkins Ltd has been trying to pay this kindness forwards through our Junior Fundraising Training Programme and we are now looking for support from an experienced Head of Fundraising to take this programme further.

Thank you for your interest in this role and we will be in touch with you shortly after the submission deadline.
