Job description

Child Bereavement UK aims to provide access to high quality child bereavement support for families and the professionals who support them, where a child of any age has died or a child is facing bereavement.

Support & Information (Helpline) Team Member
Hours: 22.5 hrs per week (0.6) (days to be confirmed)
Salary: £21,000 p.a. (pro rata)
Base: Loudwater (near High Wycombe), Buckinghamshire

We are seeking to appoint a Support & Information (Helpline) Team Member to provide support and information to both families and professionals contacting Child Bereavement UK by telephone, live chat and email. The role also includes assisting with updating information.

Applicants should have training in listening, information giving and guidance, experience in working with young people and families, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be passionate about supporting bereaved families.
