Job Description

Language required: English, Latin American Spanish (Essential)  and Portuguese ( Desirable)

  • To provide initial assessment for children and mother (including application of scales such as RCADS and SDQ)
  • To provide risk assessment at the beginning and through the therapeutic relation
  • To provide short term trauma focused interventions for children (15 sessions)
  • To work with the mothers either as part of the therapeutic intervention, providing parenting skills and guidance, parent individual sessions.
  • Demonstrable training in child and adolescent psychology and psychotherapy
  • Being trained or have experience in TF-CBT or any other approach that address trauma in children
  • At least two years of demonstrable experience with trauma and complex psychological presentations in children
  • Being member of a professional ethical framework e.g. BACP/UKCP/HCPC/OISC or being in the process to obtain accreditation
