Job description

Children 1st work to give every child in Scotland a safe and secure childhood.  We achieve this by providing direct services to vulnerable children and their families across Scotland.


Raising funds is essential to ensuring we are able to deliver support for children and families. Children 1st is looking for someone special to join its skilled and successful fundraising team, to help deliver on its ambitious three year fundraising strategy. 


This maternity cover role in the Philanthropy and Partnerships team will work with our existing corporate supporters whilst cultivating and securing new relationships in order to deliver highly successful partnerships. The postholder will be responsible for managing a prospect pipeline, building and maintaining relationships with corporate supporters.  


We need someone who is focused, driven, shares our vision and is able to deliver innovation and creativity to their work. Being an excellent communicator and relationship manager on all platforms is vital.  Our values are important to us and we need someone who can translate this to our supporters through authentic and creative relationships.

In return you will be offered a competitive salary, 40 days annual leave inclusive of 9 days public holidays and flexible working opportunities.


This is a fixed term, full time role of 35 hours per week. Based flexibly across Scotland, with offices based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The role will require frequent travel across Scotland when safe to do so.
