Children in Crossfire seeks to appoint a highly experienced individual to the position of Trusts & Foundations Grants Manager. We are an International Development organisation based in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland that works to promote and protect the rights of children who are caught in the crossfire of extreme poverty.
Children in Crossfire are currently operating a 5 year rolling plan and wish to develop a Trusts & Foundations Fundraising strategy to support our programme of work in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Ireland as well as the core running costs of the organisation. This strategy will lead to the expansion of our income from grant making bodies such as trusts and foundations and corporate donors. Reporting directly to the CEO of Children in Crossfire, the Trusts & Foundations Grants Manager will develop and implement a Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Strategy and lead on all funding proposals to grant making bodies. To date we have successfully secured funds from a variety of bodies such as Irish Aid, UKAid, The Ireland Funds, The Hilton Foundation, Betterways Foundation, William A Cadbury Trust and a number of anonymous donors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Strategy and leading on all funding proposals to grant making bodies. This is a role for a highly skilled and motivated person who is passionate about the work of Children in Crossfire. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Trusts & Foundations Grants Management role with demonstrable experience in raising significant income targets.
This is a Full Time post based in Derry/Londonderry, however requests to work from home within Ireland & the UK will be considered.
