Are you an experienced and successful fundraiser with management experience looking for a new challenge? Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) needs your skills to help deliver our strategic plan and vision, establishing and implementing a fundraising strategy and accelerating the growth of our income. You’ll provide leadership and support to our brilliant fundraising team, and be a member of CCLG’s senior leadership team, contributing to our overall success.
You’ll have an excellent understanding of a range of fundraising disciplines, as well as effective planning skills, both strategic and operational. With excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and negotiate effectively, and comfortable with being both ‘hands-on’ and strategic, this new role within CCLG offers a varied scope in a growing national charity and professional association.
Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) is a leading national charity and expert voice for all childhood cancers.
Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer. Our network of dedicated professional members work together in treatment, care and research to help shape a future where all children with cancer survive and live happy, healthy and independent lives.
We fund and support innovative world-class research and collaborate, both nationally and internationally, to drive forward improvements in childhood cancer. Our award-winning information resources help lessen the anxiety, stress and loneliness commonly felt by families, giving support throughout the cancer journey.
The Head of Fundraising will lead fundraising at CCLG and be responsible for establishing and implementing fundraising strategy and achieving income targets. You will accelerate the growth of fundraising across of diversified range of income streams to achieve long term, sustainable income growth while developing mutually beneficial partnerships and supporter relationships. You will provide leadership and support to the fundraising team, supporting them to achieve their own targets and objectives.
You will be a member of CCLG’s senior leadership team along with the CEO and Head of Communications, Information and Marketing.
