We also recognise that in a crisis people cannot wait for change to happen, they need support immediately.

About the role

As a member of the Applications and Development team you will play a key role in improving and retiring legacy applications. You will be expected to help integrate our various systems using SSIS and Azure functions to ensure data quality and consistency across Christian Aid's systems. You will also be the technical lead on the design and implementation in the future development of data integrations and reporting tools using Power BI and other technologies(SSIS, Net Core, AI) for fundraising and advocacy, and for our various international programmes.

You will be expected to work with different stakeholders across the organisation and apply technologies to solve business problems. As an excellent communicator, you will actively promote collaboration both within the Application and Development team and across the wider organisation.

About you

The successful candidate should be passionate about technology and the work Christian Aid, and have an interest in International Development. You will have a good knowledge of ETL, database design, and APIs. You should be skilled in using SQL Server, Power BI and SSIS. Experience of working with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure is also desirable.

You will be expected to manage your time, prioritise your workload, self-review your work and produce deliverables of high quality to a deadline.
