About the role

This is the senior commercial finance role for, and business partner to the Humanitarian, AME and LAC teams. It is a strategic role, providing insight into financial management reporting and being able to influence key stakeholders. It requires agility, working in a rapidly changing environment and being comfortable in proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change with the ability to listen, interpret, influence, negotiate, inspire and challenge. Key Responsibilities will include:

-Manage the financial performance of the Humanitarian division and the AME and LAC regions;

-Low level support to the International Department teams based in London;

-Provide analysis and deliver insight that drives improved financial performance and compliance in each division;

-Support the development and delivery of restricted projects through the provision of expert commercial finance input;

-Provide functional leadership to the Country Finance teams by building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all departmental senior managers and their country office teams.

About you

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who wants to use their knowledge and experience to help us achieve our vision to end poverty. The candidate will have a track record of achievement in finance business partnering roles including management reporting, with the ability to work with multiple finance systems and multiple currencies. You will be an energetic, resilient and a team player, sharing our passion for social justice and helping to champion the difference that strong financial management can make to our front-line activities.
