Job description
Christian Aid are currently looking to build a CRM team to deliver a new phase of their CRM programme and as part of that team, they are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who enable effective decision making in the delivery of new functionality to their CRM and ensure their systems integrate seamlessly with their wider technical environment.

About us

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We are a global movement of people, churches and local organisations who passionately champion dignity, equality and justice worldwide.

Our context

After successfully rolling out Microsoft Dynamics in September 2020, we are keen to make full use of the platform in every corner of our fundraising and supporter engagement activities. You will be joining and advising the CRM development team in decisions regarding the software development and technical support of the platform.

Following on from the core implementation, this programme will be rolled out over the next 12-15 months as an entirely new project with a new internal team driving it forward to ensure the business has the required tools to deliver Christian Aid's core mission.

There has never been a better time to join our organisation. Well, we would say that, wouldn't we? But we mean it. Despite the challenges we have all faced over the last year, we have performed well and continued to make an impact. We've made significant progress in our digital capabilities and we have an ambitious global strategy, Standing Together, guiding us along.

About the role

As directed by the CRM Technical Lead, carry out business analysis and automated testing activities in order to deliver the continuous improvement of the CRM solution. Work effectively with stakeholders and perform robust business analysis that provides insights into understanding As-Is and To-Be process models, including data structures and interdependencies, that are translated into concise agile requirements.

The key outcomes that Christian Aid hope to achieve through the role are:

-To proactively identify opportunities for more effectively realising project benefits and to fully articulate the proposed solution to the project team and steering group.

-To proactively identify through the requirements gathering process risks to realising project benefits and to work with teams to create appropriate and effective solutions.

-To act as mentor and Business Analysis subject matter expert to upskill and improve the existing team.

-To set out and implement best practice Business Analysis processes, tools and ways of working to improve the existing level of capability.

About you

You will have at least six-years experience, be a team player with strong data, analytics and marketing skills and know how to use those to deliver outstanding supporter engagement to drive income. You'll have bags of enthusiasm, initiative, and excellent problem solving and collaboration skills. You exhibit a strong desire to learn and share knowledge with colleagues and are willing to adapt your approach to different team members.

You're great at motivating others and have an infectious enthusiasm for CRM and FSE strategy. You will be asked to contribute to broader discussions on how we use data, analytics and insight to drive forward Christian Aid's income generation and brand strategies, identifying opportunities and collaborating with colleagues to prioritise and deliver, particularly in the digital space.

You will have several years' experience of business analyst work, and experience of working with an Agile mindset and practices.
