About the role

Working with a small team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of Christian Aid's grant expenditure. To process UK and overseas payments. To process and review country office's expenditure returns. Reconcile sterling and foreign currency bank accounts along with other balance sheet control accounts. To validate the bank accounts of all Christian Aid Partners according to organisational policies and procedures.

About you

You will be a team player, good working knowledge of payment processing (UK & foreign currency ideally) and considerable experience in an accounting or finance related environment. Working logically and methodically, you will have both an eye for detail and a proactive approach to working as part of a team. You will have extensive experience in the reconciliation of financial information including exposure to foreign currency.

Ideally you will have a working understanding of charity accounting principles, grant processing, and experience of operating in a multi-currency environment.
