About the role

The main purpose of this role is to support the Finance Manager ensuring that financial standards are met for the Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Programme (LAC RP), including reporting to donors and local government, office audits, partner financial monitoring, annual planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, etc.

This role reports to the Finance Manager on the region and to the highest authority of the country where it is based. It works closely with various staff in the LAC RP, support teams based in other countries to ensure all financial deadlines are met. The role sits within the International Department, in the LAC RP.

Salary (Full Time): USD 37,085 (annual)

Type of Contract: Open Contract

Contracted hours: 35 (weekly)

Location: Managua, Nicaragua

About you

The ideal person for this role will need knowledge in the finance field and internal audit. Considerable experience in finance-related environment, exposure to computerised systems, word processing and desirable advanced use of Excel is required. Experience in financial statements analysis, reconciliation of financial information, multicurrency management.
