About the role

This is a critical role in the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Leadership Team, developing and implementing a sector leading public engagement offering for Christian Aid.

This is a new role. Bringing together Christian Aid's marketing capabilities and aligning them with two of the largest income streams - legacies and individual giving. This role will lead the development and implementation of expert product strategies in these two critical routes to market, to achieve Christian Aid's growth ambitions. They will also develop an inspiring and cohesive audience-led comms strategy, working closely with the Head Community Fundraising and Public Engagement so that all our communications integrate and show the impact of Christian Aid's work, inspiring people to support us.

About you

You'll be a proven leader, with bags of energy, proven individual giving and legacy fundraising skills and a cutting edge marketer. You'll have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets in these two areas and building high-performing and ambitious teams. As a brilliant marketer, you'll be able to deliver stand-out campaigns by collaborating with great agencies to think differently and make the best use of budgets. A team player but also a self-starter, you'll have great connections, role model accountability for our teams and be able to create an inspiring vision while being hot on detail. You'll collaborate effectively with teams across the organisation, prioritising resources to create the greatest impact for Christian Aid.
