We are looking for an Income and Administrative Assistant who can help us do that. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference.

About the role

This role will provide effective and efficient administrative support to enable the smooth functioning of the Dublin office and will be the first point of contact for the public with Christian Aid Ireland (CAI) through reception and telephone duties. This is a vital donor support role, providing an excellent level of service to Christian Aid supporters. The post holder will also support the Programme Development Unit (PDU) and Fundraising & Supporter Engagement Team.

About you

-Educated to leaving cert standard in a relevant discipline.

-High level of computer literacy including knowledge of Office programmes including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of relevant database systems.

-An understanding and interest in global development issues

-Experience of working in an office based environment.

-Experience of using financial and administrative systems, setting up meetings and taking minutes.

-Thorough attention to detail, including accurate data entry skills.

-Experience of working in a rapidly changing environment where flexibility is essential
