An opportunity has opened up in the Mission Education Team for an Assistant Undergraduate Coordinator/Lecturer. The Undergraduate programme has grown significantly in the last year so this role will support the undergraduate coordinator in the design, delivery and teaching of the undergraduate programme in the light of this growth.
The Assistant Undergraduate Coordinator/Lecturer is a permanent, seven hours per week role, with a starting salary of £6,137 per annum (£30,690 full-time equivalent), and a generous pension scheme contribution. The role will be based at CMS House, Oxford, although we are currently working from home following the government’s advice.
The successful candidate will have a theological or missiological qualification to MA level. He/she will have experience of working with students at undergraduate level, teaching experience at undergraduate level and networking experience. He/she will have the ability to supervise dissertations, to lead small tutorial groups, to design assignments and curriculum, to manage his/her own administration and to proficiently use Microsoft Office, as well as Moodle. The post has an occupational requirement to be a committed and practising Christian who is committed to the aims and values of Church Mission Society, which are detailed on our website.
