Inspection of all Church of England and Methodist schools is required under section 48 of the Education Act (2005). The Church of England has devised the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) Evaluation Schedule (September 2021) to meet the requirements of this legislation. Under SIAMS, Church schools are judged to be either Excellent, Good, Requires Improvement, or Ineffective in response to the overarching question, “How effective is the school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?”
This is an excellent opportunity to join our National Team, supporting the implementation of an effective national inspection system and the development of a suite of training and policy documentation.
As Management and Training Officer, you will support the development and maintenance of systems. Working with the National Director and Deputy Director of SIAMS, to manage large amounts of digital information and to ensure the smooth running of SIAMS inspections and inspector training across England.

We are taking a flexible approach to work, with many colleagues opting for a hybrid approach to their working week, with a mixture of home and office-based working. Further details will be discussed at interview.
