IT Support Analyst
CIPFA is expanding its busy IT department and looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career.
You will be responsible for delivering an efficient, customer-focused ICT service. Including desktop support, application/systems training and expertise and first-line problem diagnosis to our offices and external clients.
IT Support Analyst Responsibilities:
- Providing in-depth user support for CIPFA’s in-house business systems (e.g. CRM, o365, ERP, Sharepoint and other systems) and act as a ‘guru’ to the business, helping users to work with them day-to-day and diagnosing issues.
- Providing local IT support to office-based staff. Record, track and document work in progress and resolutions as part of the problem-solving process.
- Performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing/building/maintaining workstations and hardware, implementing file backups, upgrades, patches and configuring systems and applications.
IT Support Analyst Requirements:
- It is essential you have recent experience of working in a busy IT Help Desk and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products including Windows 10, Office 365.

Location: We are currently working from home. In normal circumstances the role is based in from our Chester office.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 36 hour working week (normally between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm)
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
