Senior Consultant – Qualified Accountant
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Consultant, a qualified accountant, ideally CPFA, to join our expanding and dedicated Consultancy team. This position plays a key national role in delivering a broad range of consultancy work as determined by business needs which positions CIPFA as a leading provider of public financial management expertise.
Senior Consultant Responsibilities:
- Developing consultancy leads and identify and work with others to develop, win and deliver new opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with the Business Development and advisory services teams to promote CIPFA’s services.
- Undertaking assignments and projects to time and on budget and liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure the project deliverables meet their expectations.
Senior Consultant Requirements:
You will be dynamic, confident, and driven with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have two - three years post-qualification experience and we welcome applicants from a private or public-sector background.

Location: Flexible - London, Chester or Home based. Frequent national travel within the UK and occasional overnight stay is required.
Job type: Full Time, Permanent, 36 hours per week
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, up to 10% employer's pension contribution
