Job description

Citizens Advice Bedford (CAB) is an independent charity and a member of national Citizens Advice. CAB is responsible for providing advice to all residents with-in Bedford Borough and Money Advice to Central Bedfordshire. CAB sees approx. 10,000 people every year, is continuously expanding and is placed in the top 5% for quality of advice it gives to clients. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Service Delivery Manager – Money Advice (SDM-MA) to work alongside our existing Service Delivery Managers to help deliver our organisational objectives.

The role

The  SDM-MA is a key role within the organisation; you will be part of the Senior Management Team reporting to the Chief Executive. You will lead the money advice team and act as the money advice lead for the organisation. Last year CAB managed £5.6M of debt for our clients operating across two regions.

About you

You will already be a junior leader with significant experience in the money advice field looking for that higher-level opportunity. You will be dynamic and forward thinking with a strategic and commercial awareness. You will present yourself professionally and in tandem with our organisations values and culture.

The use of a car and valid licence is a requirement of this role as you may work across Bedford Borough and throughout Central Bedfordshire.
