22.5 hours a week (subject to negotiation)
Based in Guildford with occasional meetings in London and Surrey
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced leader who will drive the continuous development and improvement of Citizens Advice Guildford (CAG). You will be a proven relationship builder who has exemplary interpersonal skills to strengthen our reputation.
The purpose of the role is to lead and manage CAG, reporting to the Trustee Board. You will have overall responsibility for the quality and delivery of advice provided by CAG and ensuring that we meet the standard required under the performance and quality framework (PQF) and the objectives of the current strategic business plan. You will manage the Deputy Chief Officer and Advice Services Manager who have day-to-day responsibility for managing service delivery (structure chart available on request).
You will have specific responsibility for all external liaison and activity. This includes building relationships with national Citizens Advice, other local Citizens Advice, Guildford Borough Council (our main funder), and other funders and stakeholders to build our profile within the local community.
You will have a proven track record of maintaining and developing funding streams to enable continued support for our core advice service along with specialist projects to meet local advice needs.
