Volunteering Pathways Project
Our volunteer training and support processes need to be reviewed and redesigned to fit our new way of working. We have secured funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, allowing us to employ two specialists on a six-months contract to help with this task.
We are looking for a Training Manager to review our volunteer training pathways, as well as training delivery and support mechanisms so that they can be delivered remotely, or in socially distanced settings. You’ll have solid experience organising training and designing training strategies and plans.
Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.
Our advice services are delivered largely by volunteers and depend on effective recruitment, retention, support and training. Under lockdown, and to maintain a Covid-safe environment for our clients, staff and volunteers, we are all working remotely, providing advice via phone, email and webchat. To help us reach new clients and assist Redbridge residents to cope with enormous pressures arising from the pandemic, we have been successful in securing some short-term funding to support some time limited projects.
