As an Employability Coach you will act as the main contact for a caseload of learners and ensure that they:
- Progress on their programme with City Gateway.
- Gain a sustainable outcome into Employment, Education or Training (EET) within 3 months of completing a City Gateway Programme.
Coaching will be delivered on a one-to-one and group basis, focussing on interventions which have maximum impact in developing the skills required for progression. Coaches will be resourceful in helping their caseload overcome the barriers and problems they face, project managing the implementation of agreed action plans and supporting the individuals to achieve their objectives. Coaches will work closely with the Education team to ensure that they are taking a joined up approach to supporting the learners towards success.
Coaches will also proactively source and identify with the learners opportunities to progress into such as Apprenticeship vacancies (internal and external), jobs and courses with external training and education providers.
