Lead Progression Coach

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 35 hours a week (excluding unpaid breaks)

Reports to Apprenticeships and Progression Manager



7% Employer pension contribution after 3 months

25 days annual leave (increasing 1 day per year up to 30 days) + bank holidays

Our Progression Team is there to support the student on this journey of fulfilling their full potential, each young person is partnered with a a dedicated Progression Coach who works with them to improve their soft skills in resilience, confidence and self-awareness, which we see as key enablers for entry into employment.

Our Education and Training programmes last up to one year, after which we support and train our students throughout their 12/ 18 month Apprenticeship, whilst they establish themselves in the world of work.

We are looking for a Lead Progression Coach whose primary role is to lead the coaching team to ensure that each learner progresses on their programme and onto an EET outcome. The Lead Coach will also ensure that caseloads and activities are adequately assigned, collate coaching data for MIS and compile for reports for the Apprenticeships and Progression Manager.

In addition they will be expected to maintain their own caseload of learners.

DBS Check:

This role requires the successful candidate to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check in

compliance with City Gateway’s DBS & Risk Assessment Policy.
