Senior Accountant – Financial Investments
£49,810 - £56,690 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting (depending on experience/performance)
Are you an articulate, experienced finance professional with practical knowledge gained within the charitable and/or endowment sector? Would you relish the opportunity of being involved in the financial investments for City’s Cash (an endowment), Bridge House Estates (BHE) (a registered charity: 1035628) and for other charities of which the City Corporation is trustee?

If so, an exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Treasury team, of the Chamberlain’s (Finance) Department.
Reporting to the Group Accountant (Treasury & Investments), the successful applicant will provide high quality financial reporting around the financial investments belong to City’s Cash, BHE and other charities. The postholder will work with our key advisors, other officers, the external auditors, investment managers and other partners to ensure relevant investment strategies are implemented effectively and in meeting our ambitious Climate Action Strategy targets.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with work experience within the endowment/charity sector or the investment industry. A good working knowledge of charity and endowment investment finance is essential and you should be able to provide clear professional advice to senior officers and Members.
