About us

Managed by the City of London Corporation, City Bridge Trust is London’s largest independent funder. We make approximately 200 multi-year grant awards a year, totalling £20m, with the goal of reducing inequalities and growing stronger, more resilient communities in London. We also provide non-financial support for grant holders. We’re keen to ensure we make the best use of our funds and that means collecting, analysing, using and sharing evidence drawn from our grant-making and wider philanthropic activities.

The role

Joining our newly established Impact and Learning Team, you’ll build on current data analytics systems and help to shape a dedicated function. This is a role that will grow with you as you improve the depth of our analysis and use it to inform internal learning and decision-making. You will also help us integrate external data and insights to better understand our findings and anticipate trends. We want to be confident in the quality of our data and in how we draw conclusions, share insights and benchmark what we find.

About you

You’ll bring sound experience of working in an analytics role, where you’ll have determined data methodologies and provided detailed analysis and insights to shape organisational decision-making. Experience of scoping and managing data analytics projects is key. Your engaging communications style mean you can ‘tell the story’ behind data and clearly convey technical concepts to non-specialists, both in writing and in person. Like us, you’ll be passionate about the value of data as an asset that can drive social change.

Closing date Noon, 5 December 2019.
