The organisation works with some of the largest FTSE 100 companies as well as smaller institutions including asset management firms both within the UK and globally to try and influence investment portfolios on a range of issues including; health, workforce issues and climate change. An opportunity exists to join this fantastic charity as a member of the senior leadership team as the new Director of Fundraising and Communications. The Director of Fundraising and Communications role will oversee the communications team however a large section of the role will be to develop and grow the fundraising function.
Who we are looking for?
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience of developing and implementing a fundraising/business development strategy working at a senior level within an organisation. You will be a natural communicator being able to inspire and influence internal and external stakeholders. Working across a range of fundraising streams, you will also have the necessary expertise to prioritise and raise income. As there will be an existing team to oversee, you will ideally also have experience of developing high performing teams in a supportive environment. Some experience and working knowledge of developing a broad communications strategy overseeing elements of PR, Marketing and Digital is also desirable. Finally, we are seeking those with a genuine passion for the third sector who can inspire our potential donors and supporters helping to impact on a range of societal issues
