The charity looks to inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation. An exciting opportunity exists for a Fundraising Assistant to join the team to help manage the relationship with a number of community fundraisers, individual donors and legacy donors that the charity has. This is a great chance for candidates who want to understand a breadth of fundraising roles and really be hands on in helping grow these income streams for the charity. The role is full time and fully home based.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have proven experience of meeting targets and working to Key Performance Indicators. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident in contacting supporters and supporting them towards their fundraising goals. You will be competent using MS Office, MS Windows, MS Dynamics 365, Teams and community fundraising platforms such as Facebook and Just Giving. Experience of working with donors would be an advantage however it is not essential for the role. There may be occasional out of hours work required.
