Job description

Civitas Recruitment are exciting to be working with a great charity focused social welfare and community development through the arts. The charity utilises (and is in the process of restoring) a historic listed building in central London for the continued use of the wider community. An opportunity exists for an experienced Fundraiser to join their team as Head of Fundraising for an initial six-month period. The role is likely to be extended or made permanent at the end of the contract.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will come with a wealth of fundraising experience and have knowledge and understanding of capital appeals and working with Heritage Lottery Funded projects. Prior experience of developing fundraising activities by utilising large public venues for events and programmes will also be an advantage. You will be a natural communicator who is able to engage with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach will be a prerequisite to working in this small yet successful team. You will also be well organised and be able to assist in devising fundraising plans and budgets with the finance teams.
