Civitas Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a great campaigning charity focused on creating a strong, responsible investment system which is geared towards sustainability and advancement of savers, communities, and the environment. The organisation works with some of the largest FTSE 100 companies as well as smaller institutions and asset management firms both within the UK and globally to try and influence investment portfolios on a range of issues including health, workforce issues and climate change. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate with public health knowledge and expertise to lead a scoping study to develop the charities expanding health programme. The role will be initially fixed for 6 months however based on the projects research and findings there is a strong possibility for the role to become long term through additional funding for the development of the programme.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in the field of public health with prior experience of research using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Candidates will be confident in conducting independent research and have experience of stakeholder consultations being able to present findings and reporting to non-technical audiences. An understanding of how corporates and the financial sector can impact on a society and its health outcomes will be an added bonus as well experience of writing bids for funding (although this is not essential).
