Job description

Civitas Recruitment are proud to be working with a dynamic charity focused on the issue of social exclusion of the elderly community within the UK. The charity is experiencing a period of positive change and at present formulating its strategy for growth and effectiveness of its services. An opportunity exists for an experienced volunteer officer to join the team to assist in the research, creation and maintenance of volunteers so crucially needed for the success of the charity. The role will also involve partnership work, communications and marketing- so a truly broad and multifaceted role. This is a initial FTC till Dec 2020 but can be extended.

Who we are looking for?

Ideal candidates will have previous experience of sourcing and creating volunteer groups. You will be naturally energetic, creative and well organised in your approach to work. Add to this you will have great communication skills being able to work with a diverse group of people including volunteers, service users and external groups. This is a home-based role with some travel within the midlands area and as such you will need to have access to a car and be a self-starter who can manage their own workload and targets.
