Youth Engagement Apprentice
Main Working Location: Denmark Road, Carshalton
Salary Range: Apprenticeship L3- £14,000
Permanent: 37 Hours per Week
Cognus Limited are looking for a Youth Engagement Apprentice who will be responsible for the welfare and engagement of young people engaged with the Sutton Music Service.
This role will be responsible for the welfare and engagement of the young people at rehearsals, concerts, lessons and events, coordinating the smooth-running of Sutton Music Service ensembles, lessons and rehearsals and supporting the delivery of all Sutton Music Service concerts and largescale events.
A cheerful nature is essential as is previous experience of or an interest in working with young people and managing projects aimed at children and young people.
Because of the nature of the service there will be some regular evening and weekend work and applicants must be happy working outside of normal working hours however the role will not involve lone working.
A love of music is a must for this role although no formal music training is required. Candidates must have a can-do attitude and be willing to support all aspects of the Sutton Music Service and able to travel to various venues across Sutton.
The role will offer a Level 3 Business or Youth Apprenticeship depending on the successful candidate and Cognus will support all learning associated with this qualification.
