Combat Stress was established in 1919. We are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For almost a century, we’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression.
Today we provide UK-wide support to veterans from every service and every conflict, on the phone and online, in the community and at our treatment centres. We’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. About the role:
We are looking for an experienced branding and marketing lead with expertise in creative and inhouse studio management for a 12-month maternity cover.
You will provide creative direction for the charity and will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, consistent and engaging brand identity for Combat Stress to improve awareness of the charity.
Managing the inhouse design team and the charity’s brand agency you will be responsible for leading on brand projects such as charity films and the organisation’s biannual magazine. Alongside this you will also manage the day to day workflow of the inhouse studio ensuring all projects align with our brand idea ‘Liberating Lives’.
Working as part of a passionate and motivated Marketing and Communications team you will work closely with colleagues within your department as well as colleagues across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a creative lead who is innovative with an eye for detail. They will be highly organised, a strong project manager who stays calm and positive under pressure.
