Combat Stress was established in 1919. We are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For a century, we’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression.

Today we provide UK-wide support to veterans from every service and every conflict, on the phone and online, in the community and at our treatment centres. We’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, we’re there to help tackle the past and to take on the future.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Executive Assistant to support two of our Directors within the Fundraising and Marketing areas.  With previous experience, you are able to work with minimal supervision and meet your deadlines as being a key member of the team.  You’re willing and able to engage with all key stakeholders, both internally and externally. You are proactive, organised and methodical, with an ability to grasp detail and complexity to reach appropriate solutions.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient, confidential and comprehensive secretarial, administrative and clerical service to both Directors and ensure the effective organisation of commitments across the full range of duties. You are also accountable for assigned administrative procedures and specific work projects.  This will include the effective administration of the Fundraising Committees including collating papers and creating agendas.

This role is subject to a DBS check.
