Communication and Circulation Officer

APT is an international publisher of third sector material, including Alliance magazine, a quarterly publication on philanthropy and social investment globally. APT aims to create a culture of collective involvement where all team members can contribute to both the direction and processes of the organisation. We are currently seeking a candidate with strong communications skills, excellent IT skills and an appetite to learn about philanthropy for the post of Communication and Circulation Officer. Marketing experience is also desirable.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for all forms of communication with our readership either through the production of regular email updates or the presentation of content on our website. You will also oversee all of Alliance magazine’s profile online through its own website and various social media channels.

You will help ensure a high standard of written content is published via our website as well as taking the lead in moving Alliance forward into multimedia with the continued development of both audio and video content for our readers.

You will also be responsible for forging new partnerships and managing a global network of existing partnerships. You will be a point of contact for all external enquiries and work alongside the Marketing & Advertising Officer to grow the readership of Alliance magazine.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a small team and have excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. The candidate will be a willing participant in all organisational discussions and play an active part in driving the organisation forward.
