In this job, you will play a vital role in driving up awareness of the Mental Health Charter with businesses, organisations, and service providers across the borough of Barnet.
To begin with, you’ll use your organisational and project management skills to work with the steering group to create an action plan. With their support, you’ll use your operational communications experience to work with all partners to develop and create presentations and other promotional materials, such as flyers and posters. You will also take photos at engagement activities for partners to promote the project on their respective social media platforms.
Then, using your excellent interpersonal skills you will build on existing relationships with key stakeholders and create new ones. Travelling around the borough of Barnet you will proactively approach, encourage and support a diverse audience of businesses, organisations, and service providers to make pledges to the charter and later follow up on their progress.
On a day to day basis, you will record activities against key performance indicators, accurately record and analyse feedback using surveys and data management tools.
Additionally, you will organise and attend monthly Steering Group meetings following key project management principles to report on the overall progress of the project against targets.

Press and Marketing Coordinator
Gresham College is a charity which provides high-quality free education to the public across a broad range of subjects. The College aims to stimulate a love of learning and intellectual curiosity and to champion academic rigor, professional expertise and freedom of expression.
Gresham College has been providing free lectures within the City of London for over 400 years. Lectures are attended by an in-person audience and live-streamed around the world. We have currently had over 51 million online views.
The College is now in year four of an exciting five-year plan which has the primary aim of increasing and broadening the audience which the College reaches. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postholder will be responsible for publicising Gresham lectures and speakers to the media to amplify our visibility, enhance our reputation, and attract new audiences to Gresham.
The post-holder will need to be able to translate complex, technical information into clear and engaging press releases and briefings. They will need to be capable of managing proactive, planned press work but also have the ability to react to events and enquiries as well. They should demonstrate a strong track record of working and placing articles with a variety of national / international / print / digital media outlets.
With help from junior staff, they will also proactively inform additional groups of upcoming lectures – for example, faculty heads / administrators of university programs aligned with the respective lecture topic.
They will build relationships with other organisations in our sector with a view to cross-promotion when appropriate.
Finally, they will serve as the primary liaison for external press agencies enlisted to undertake independent or standalone projects.

Responsibilities
1. Write press releases about key lectures, speakers and series.
2. Disseminate these notices to media contacts (journalists, reporters, bloggers, media outlets) via media relations software, and personal correspondence when appropriate.
3. Build and maintain targeted lists of media contacts within media relations software to increase the efficacy of this work.
4. Act as the liaison between media contacts and Gresham speakers, facilitating collaboration such as the co-authoring of editorials or press interviews.
5. Work with junior colleague(s) to build lists of other contacts who may be interested in particular lectures and manage distribution of information to these groups.
6. Similarly, disseminate lecture information to other broadcast opportunities and platforms, such as membership associations, event-listing websites and newsletters, building reciprocal relationships with sector partners.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Between three and five-years’ experience working as a journalist, in a press office or communications team.
2. Robust knowledge of the UK media landscape.
3. The ability to build good, working relationships with press and media contacts.
4. Success in securing national or wider press coverage of stories / stakeholders / campaigns.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to translate complex information and data into messaging for a range of audiences.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Bid Writer to join our Business Development team working on tender opportunities, tracking new and existing business and handling of new contracts for POhWER.
POhWER needs to increase and diversify its income to achieve greater financial sustainability. To do this we need to grow our services to reach new parts of the UK and new areas of work. Our Bid Writers coordinate the organisation’s response to all tenders. This includes re-tendering for our existing services as well as responding to tenders for services in new areas, or new services in our existing areas.
The role includes:
· Lead and co-ordinate tender activity ensuring that POhWER wins and retains new and existing services and contracts
· Take ownership of the bid response, style and format and overseeing it through the production process.
· Prepare and write tenders in a persuasive manner that takes full account of customer-specific style and content.
You will have excellent written communication, attention to detail and proof reading skills and a good knowledge of POhWER’s services. You will also have an ability to work to strict deadlines and a confident, flexible and positive attitude.

We achieve this through a free festival in Deptford, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities, and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities year-round. Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival.
This is a crucial and exciting time to join Deptford X; in 2023 the organisation turned 25 and also became an Arts Council England NPO. We are exploring moving to a biennial model and creating more space for deeper engagement and networked working. There is scope for the new General Manager to being their own vision and networks to the organisation and to take it into the next quarter century in a way that is sustainable, accessible, diverse and relevant.

Job Responsibilities
The General Manager is integral to the management of Deptford X and the delivery and development of its ambitious programmes. The General Manager works closely with the Director and Board of Trustees as part of a small and supportive team to contribute actively and creatively to the development of the organisation, as well as overseeing daily and organisational operations. The General Manager supervises office management, communications, administration, financial management, staffing, programme delivery logistics, reporting and evaluation; and works collaboratively with the Director on strategic and financial development, including embedded environmental sustainability. In addition to the above, the General Manager will lead on developing and dynamically integrating Deptford X's access and care agenda.

We are looking for a positive people-person with exceptional fundraising, communications and engagement experience and abilities and the ambition to help take ANT to our next level of impact, as we prepare for exponential growth over the next year.
Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change and helping nature recover by both overseeing and leading on engagement, communications and fundraising for our projects, helping to secure public support for our goals to plant hundreds of thousands of trees and enhance complementary habitats. You will join a fast-growing organisation that started in 2019 with four volunteers and has grown to a staff team of thirteen (which will double over 2024), over 1,000 volunteers and ownership of 170 acres (soon to be 600 acres) of land that will grow woodlands of over 160,000 trees.
As a fast-growing, high impact charity all of our roles have direct operational responsibilities in addition to managing teams and thinking strategically and with vision.
Main responsibilities
● Lead from the front to drive our relationship-based fundraising operations and strategy including regular giving, philanthropy and corporate partnerships
● Ensure our communications and engagement sparkle, valuing creativity, innovation and evaluation to continually improve both our strategies and levels of engagement
● Work with other team members to plan for excellent Landscape Recovery stakeholder engagement, communications and fundraising
● Line-manage and oversee the work of our engagement, communications and relationship-based fundraising teams to ensure our people are well-supported and our work is impactful
● Work with the Chief Executive and other Heads on organisational strategy, fundraising, communications and engagement planning
● Identify and seize new fundraising and engagement opportunities, and help guide ANT through a period of business and transformation and growth
● Lead the development and implementation of our fundraising, engagement and communications strategies
● Develop and foster relationships with new and existing strategic partners and funders
● Identify and implement opportunities for ANT to continually improve, using your influencing skills to create opportunities

Working relationships and expectations
● As a member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the Chief Executive and other Heads, helping to lead the organisation in an exciting period of change and growth
● You will have a number of direct reports, which will grow as ANT takes on more staff
● Hybrid working between home and our office (currently on Gloucester Road, Bristol)
● Occasional evening and weekend working will be required but this is not a substantial feature of your role

Trinity Community Arts is seeking an experienced and dynamic Producer to collaborate with us and our partners, St Pauls Carnival, Citizens In Power and West of England Combined Authority, on the successful delivery of the 2024/5 Citizens’ Assembly for Culture.
This ground-breaking initiative aims to bring together citizens from across the region to meet with creative practitioners, cultural providers and decision-makers to shape the future of a cultural delivery plan for the region.
The Citizens' Assembly Producer is a pivotal role that will successfully plan and oversee the delivery of the Assembly, drive a programme of engagement activities and events and work with the project partners to embed the methodology across the region to enable the planning and delivery of future citizens’ assemblies.
We recognise that this role is likely to be suited to candidates with either:

experience of producing large participatory projects in or around the creative and cultural sectors; or

experience of working on citizens’ assemblies or other forms of deliberative or participatory democracy
