What will you be doing?
The Content Officer will be responsible for gathering assets and content from across Plantlife’s work areas to highlight and deliver our mission to secure a world rich in plants and fungi.
This is a collaborative and interesting role researching and creating content across multiple channels including videos and social media. You will be responsible for creating and writing blogs and developing engaging stories that captivate, deepen relationships and inevitably grow our audiences. We have some amazing stories to tell, and you will play a significant role in shaping them.
You will also be managing the day-to-day content on our website, telling our rich brand story, collating captivating newsletters, and be involved in various operational content projects supporting the wider communications team.
Who are we looking for?
You will be a highly organised and collaborative team player who is experienced in delivering high-quality content for multiple channels. The role involves forming strong relationships with colleagues across Plantlife to encourage a wide range of content that drives engagement with Plantlife’s work. You will enjoy helping the team across a range of communications, engagement and fundraising disciplines and strengthening our networks and partnerships.Ideally, you will have a passion for the environment and be proactive in developing content to enable the best outcomes for nature.
This is a fixed term 12 month contract, full -time (35 hours per week). We offer home or hybrid working and we have offices in Salisbury and Retford.

We have an opportunity for a Customer Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Affairs Team on a 12 month fixed term basis, working 30 hours a week.
You'll be based from our Basingstoke office, although with offices in Bristol, Christchurch, Exeter and Newbury, we can be flexible on your base location.

The Role
You'll support the business in achieving its priorities through effective customer communications, advising on the right channels and messages to keep SNG's customers informed and engaged.
As a Customer Communications Specialist you'll create, develop, execute and project manage strategic and tactical communication plans. This will involve producing and delivering creative, engaging content and campaigns for our customers through multiple channels, including web, social media, email and SMS, direct mail and more.
It's an exciting time at SNG as we integrate our communications for former Sovereign and former Network Homes customers and establish a Community Foundation. You'll be part of supporting the transformation and change programme as we move forward together.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with key stakeholders, listening to and understanding their communication requirements and providing them with expert support.
- Working to align customer communications with external and internal communications, and with our strategy and values.
- Managing and measuring the effectiveness of our communications, including external benchmarking and best practice.
- Understanding the pressures and issues facing the social housing sector and keeping up to date with best practice in Communications and PR, particularly changes to communications innovation, legislation and codes of practice and sharing this insight with colleagues.
What we're looking for
This position would suit candidates who have previous Customer Communication experience, possibly in a housing association, local authority or similar non-profit organisation.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt your tone and write copy/create campaigns designed to generate a response or change in behaviour.

Harris Hill is searching for an Alumni and Development Executive for around 3 months to cover a leaver.
This role will need to start around the 22nd April for a handover with the current postholder. The post can be 3, 4 or 5 days per week but on the understanding that this be hybrid based with the need to attend their numerous sites, depending on alumni events.

About Social Change Lab
Social Change Lab is a nonprofit conducting and disseminating social movement research to help solve the world’s most pressing problems. Historically, social movements conducting disruptive campaigns seem to have been crucial in driving significant political, social and economic change. This role is responsible for supporting a range of communications activities that build public will for a future without the need for food banks. This role will help deliver a variety of creative communications outputs that builds traction, provokes conversations, wins hearts and minds, and keeps hunger and food bank use at the forefront of the national agenda.
Role responsibilities

Support on the delivery of a range of creative communications activities that build cause awareness, tackle misconceptions of poverty and shift behaviours among key audiences from a wide range of diverse groups. This could include coordinating interactive or immersive experiences, thought-provoking events, stunts or high-profile opportunities.

Work within the Strategic Communications directorate and beyond to support the delivery of strategic communications opportunities that build understanding and public will for the policy and societal changes needed to end the need for food banks.

Provide logistical and organisational support to the Activations team, and wider teams, to enable the smooth coordination of activations and events.

Work collaboratively with a variety of teams, stakeholders and external partners and agencies to support in the delivery of high-impact activations and events.

Support colleagues from the Trussell Trust on a variety of communications needs, including copywriting support and coordination of PR opportunities.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

Creative thinker able to help deliver innovative and behaviour-changing ideas that grab the attention of various audiences, build cause/brand awareness and inspire action.

Confident written and verbal communications skills with experience of copywriting for a range of channels.

Ability to understand and use inclusive language and other best practice around communication that engages a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.

Some experience working with the media or coordinating PR opportunities.

Experience of working collaboratively, with various teams, stakeholders and external partners or agencies.

Experience of supporting on the delivery of high profile, creative events or activations.

Knowledge of key communication channels including media, social media and digital.

Strong organisational, logistical and time management skills with an ability to multi-task and a keen eye for detail.

Passion and interest in keeping up to date with sector news – across campaigning and activism, entertainment, advocacy, talent and cultural landscapes.

Helping to drive an energetic content team in the Marketing and Communications department, the Content Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Content Manager to create, curate and coordinate content within a defined strategy.
With a particular focus on the procurement, migration and rollout of a new digital asset management system, this role ensures the organisation have easy access to effective, engaging content created with an audience-centric approach.
The role also line manages the Library Officer, who works to ensure content is compliant and available for use as appropriate, through managing resources including an accessible digital asset management system, and by providing direct assistance across the organisation.
Role responsibilities

Support in the execution of an audience-focused content strategy aligned with our vision and goals.

Support the curation of high-quality, engaging content, working closely with the Creative Studio team and external agencies to develop assets, ensuring that all content is aligned with brand guidelines and relevant audience insight.

Drive DAMS strategy development, manage training, communication, and change management, and oversee the system, workflow, and metadata roadmap, driving improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Curate and store raw content and all assets in accordance with data protection legislation (GDPR) and ensuring legal protection, developing approaches to contracting, licensing, subject consent and usage, that maintains a sensitive approach to client confidentiality.

Experience managing content resources and digital asset management systems, including helping others access and use assets appropriately.
