Islington, Greater London
£35,000 per year
Contract, 1 year fixed term contract, Full-time
Job description

Community Catalysts CIC is a busy, buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re starting a new piece of work in Islington in partnership with Islington Council and need an energetic, and imaginative person to coordinate things for us.

You will lead the Islington “Community Offer” Project. You will find and mentor local people and community organisations, helping them to create new ways for people with a learning disability to have increased choice, new experiences and community connections.

To do this job you must:

  • Understand the world of care – but maybe feel it could do with a bit of a shake up, particularly for people with a learning disability
  • Be a real people person – able to work well with all sorts of folks with confidence.
  • Instinctively make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
  • Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.

Have a look at the job description and person specification for more information.

The post holder will be employed by Community Catalysts and based in Islington.

Closing date for applications is Monday 16th August 2021 at 5.00pm and interviews will take place on Wednesday 25th August 2021 in Islington.

We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
