WANTED – New volunteer Trustees for our successful Board
Do you want to make a difference…
and do something worthwhile for your local community?
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to join our supportive Board of Trustees to further develop our strategic direction.
The work will be stimulating and we are sure that high performers with the drive, skills and experience will enjoy the challenge of helping us develop our future plans.
At this time we want to recruit up to four new Trustees to join our Board. Two are likely to be generalists with governance experience, one with legal experience, and one with financial experience to assist our Treasurer.
The people we are looking for will have integrity and commitment to our objectives; and will be strategic thinkers, excellent communicators and able to be non-judgmental when helping the Board make decisions.
This could be a wonderful opportunity for you to contribute if you have experience of strategic planning, leadership and evaluating performance. Ideally you will also have knowledge or experience of some of the following:
- financial management
- local government or the NHS
- legal and/or employment issues
- health and social care
- digital services
- community development
At the heart of the local voluntary and community sector since 1968, Community360 is an independent charity aiming to inspire groups to seize opportunities and become more enterprising and sustainable. We value working in partnership. We consult with our voluntary and public sector partners to guide the development of policy, co-produce new projects and deliver services. These include a pioneering My Social Prescription initiative along with our Community Development work, Community Accounts Service, Voluntary Sector Training, Volunteer Centre, and Community Transport service.
We lead on community programmes with more than 400 volunteers, and help over 300 community groups a year to access funding, embed good financial practices, and train their people.
We also second staff to other organisations to help develop their skills. We are creative and innovative in meeting the needs of local communities and the voluntary groups and organisations that serve them.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
