The Confederation of Meningitis Organisations is an international charity representing more than 70 members around the world, whose mission is to prevent meningitis worldwide, because we can and we should.
Our main event each year is World Meningitis Day on April 24th. We also hold conferences for our members each year and are involved in various projects and campaigns around the world.
Duration: Temporary, 14.5 hours per week - 8 months
Our Head Office is located within the offices of the Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF), in the centre of Bristol. You will be working alongside the Executive Director and Events and Communications Officer and will provide administrative support both at Head Office and to our regional representatives in Spain, USA and Australia.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the charitable sector.
The successful candidate will have an interest in the charitable sector, good IT skills and have great attention to detail.
You will have strong communication and time management skills and the ability to work well in both a team and autonomously.
Experience of administrative support is desirable but not essential.
Experience of arranging transport and accommodation for international travel is desirable but not essential.
