Job description

We are a local charity providing advice and support services to people living in Milton Keynes who receive a social care budget and use this as a Direct Payment to create more tailored care arrangements.  We are looking for someone keen to develop their knowledge and understanding to support people to use Direct Payments confidently and assist some of these people with finding and employing their own care staff.  Working within a small friendly team of advisors the role involves home visiting and responding to enquiries to our Helpline.

Full training is available to the right candidate.

30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Use of a vehicle is essential.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including a Disclosure & Barring Service check (DBS) including checks with past employers (Applicant Declaration must be completed and returned with application)
