About You
Are you a values driven, experienced leader of care and support services with a proven track record of delivering high quality and sustainable contracts for vulnerable adults and children? Have you worked extensively with complex, multi-disciplinary teams in diverse organisations and is someone who can achieve significant results? Are you looking to develop your career at a more senior level?

  • Exceptional senior, operational and people leadership skills.

  • Experience developing strategic direction and ensuring results are delivered.

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in an audience, experience focussed environment.

  • Significant operational leadership accountability across a geographically dispersed area within a complex and diverse organisation.

  • Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, able to develop strong working partnerships internally and externally.

  • A creative approach to problem solving, ability to explore and develop new initiatives to achieve results.

  • Commercially and financially astute, you’ll be able to balance commercial growth with service delivery.

  • Experience managing large projects and project management principles.

  • An inclusive and collaborative leadership approach. 

    About Us
    Connection Support provides a breath of specialist and person-centred support services to a range of people facing complex life challenges. Our services include Housing Support, Homelessness, Rough Sleepers Outreach, Mental Health, Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement, Prevention Matters.  We deliver our services in a range of service models including supported accommodation for young people (aged 16-25 years) to prevent homelessness by providing accommodation with 24/7 support as well as providing individual support to people living in their own homes.

    About the Role
    The Director of Operations and Deputy CEO will provide the leadership and strategic management of Care and Support delivery for the organisation. Part of the Senior Management Team, the role will work in partnership with the CEO and Operations Managers  to deliver services which are high quality, sustainable and innovative ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

    Connection Support offers 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (pro rata)

In a role where the successful candidate will not stand still, this person will be a natural and competent strategic thinker, motivated to make decisions driven by our values, vision and strategy.
