*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £25,813 to £33,052, The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range at £25,813, depending on the candidate's skills and experience. Context and purpose of role
The Finance Apprentice will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance team to deliver our strategy. The Apprentice will undertake a structured Level 3 Assistant Accountant training programme, combining work-based learning with academic study to develop practical accounting, financial and administrative skills.
During the apprenticeship, the Finance Apprentice will gain experience across key finance activities, including purchase and sales ledger processing, financial administration, and supporting core accounting processes such as reconciliations and reporting.
This role offers a strong foundation for a career in finance, providing exposure to financial operations as well as insight into financial accounting and business partnering in a supportive and friendly team environment.
Key responsibilities

The Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
· Provide personalised information, advice and support.
· Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.

About You
You will have experience in:
· Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities

The DRIVE IDVA Role and Key Responsibilities
The Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate (IDVA) plays a critical safeguarding role within the Drive Project, providing specialist, survivor-centred advocacy, safety planning and risk management for victims and survivors linked to Drive cases. The role ensures that survivors’ voices, safety, and well-being remain central to system decision-making throughout the Drive intervention.
The role is positioned to work with victims/survivors of domestic abuse; providing specialist support to victims of high-risk, serial, or high-harm domestic abuse perpetrators who are managed by the Drive Project.
DRIVE IDVA’s provide ongoing recovery support to clients for up to 12 months.

Event & Engagement Coordinator
Remotely based in North West England with one day a week based in Manchester office. 9‑month fixed‑term contract / placement.
Job Purpose:
To plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of local events across North West England, ensuring each event is well-organised, inclusive, and engaging for local communities. The Local Event & Engagement Coordinator will collaborate closely with partners, local authorities, suppliers, volunteers, and members to deliver high-quality, unique and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
· Event Coordination
Plan and manage logistics for a variety of local member events, making sure all events are accessible and attractive to both existing and potential members.
· Liaise with relevant external and internal contacts such as venues, suppliers, CSSC’s ticketing platform, Head Office departments, and volunteers.
· Complete all relevant compliance work such as risk assessments and public liability checks.
· Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring value for money and accurate financial tracking.
· Oversee event setup and breakdown where applicable, managing on-site logistics and resolving any issues on the day.
· Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with events.
· Evaluate event success through feedback, data collection, and post-event reporting.
· Digital Engagement
Promote events via social media, email campaigns, posters, and local press in collaboration with marketing teams.
· Manage and grow the North West’s CSSC TikTok presence, including content planning, filming, editing, posting, and community engagement.
· Create engaging, on-brand short-form video content tailored to target audiences.
· Monitor performance metrics and use insights to optimise content strategy and increase reach and engagement.
· Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platform updates.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
· Proven experience in planning and delivering events.

· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

About the role
The Communications Officer plays an important role in ensuring our audiences get the information and the support that they need across our key channels. This is a varied role where you will gain experience in several areas of communications and marketing, including social media, content creation and email marketing. You will be working alongside our Communications Lead, who will provide mentorship and support to help you excel in your communications career. You will also benefit from working across programmes and projects with all members of the Student Minds’ team, growing your communication and relationship skills and knowledge of higher education and student mental health.
Our social media accounts are a key communications tool for the charity. They enable us to engage with our networks, provide resources and support, and communicate our work, impact, and the importance of student mental health. These tools work together with our digital marketing and website to effectively communicate with our audiences. We use several social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, BlueSky, YouTube and Facebook. This role will help us improve our platforms and storytelling, ensuring students’ voices and experiences are at the centre. This will involve working with students and our advisory groups to share their stories and listen to their improvements for change. You will play a key role in communicating our work to ensure no student is held back by their mental health.
