Job Description

Full time- 35 hours a week

The Prince's Trust is the UK's leading youth charity supporting 13-30 year olds, who are unemployed or educational under achievers to move into education, training or employment.

Key to our success is our engagement with a wide variety of public sector and private funding sources.  This needs effective contract management to allow us to maximise our draw-down, keep local delivery and fundraising staff teams aware of progress on contracts and ensure that all relevant and eligible expenditure is included in claims.  This role is pivotal to this success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Contract Management role in the North region of the Trust and reporting to the Head of Contract Management you will also have two direct reports.

This role is responsible for ensuring we maximise our contracted income in compliance with our funding agreements and alerting in a timely manner any issues preventing us from doing so, by working effectively across operations, finance and fundraising in a proactive manner.  Working closely with the Finance and Public Sector Fundraising teams to ensure that budgets and forecasts are accurately maintained and monitored. This role manages two Contract Executives who are responsible for compiling the claims and ensuring that funder contract requirements are being met.

The successful candidate will require strong project and proven contract management experience, finance experience, analytical skills and knowledge of documentary evidence requirements to support audit trails for public sector funders including ERDF and ESF.  You will have experience in managing a team and excellent communications skills, as well as advanced planning and time management skills.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.
