Coram Children’s Legal Centre [CCLC] was established 35 years ago as the major UK project for the International Year of the Child. It is an independent, registered UK charity (No. 281222) with offices in Central London, England. Coram International @ CCLC is an internationally renowned institution with a reputation for high quality work. We conducted our first project 20 years ago and have since engaged in over 170 consultancies and projects in 87 countries with 42 partners on human and children’s rights. We specialise in:
Coram International is made up of experts from multiple disciplines, and includes child rights lawyers, socio-legal researchers, social workers, statistical analysts, evaluation experts, judges, lawyers, prosecutors, police officers, and prison and probation experts. We work across the full range of child rights, including child labour, child protection, child justice, access to justice, combating violence and harmful traditional practices, sexual and reproductive rights, armed conflict, counter-terrorism and violent extremism, gender equality, child governance and child rights monitoring.
We are seeking an International Research Officer to join our team. The right candidate will support our research projects by carrying out socio-legal research on children’s rights issues, and by providing technical support to our projects. Please note that this post will involve international travel for up to three months per year.
