Job description

HOURS: 3 days a week – 21hours (must include Wednesdays)

CONTRACT TYPE: Sessional (6 month commitment preferable)

The Parenting and Creative Therapies Service works to empower disadvantaged children, young people and their families, building on their skills and emotional resilience to enable them to move forward. Using a range of therapeutic and peer-led approaches grounded in evidence, we aim to work alongside young people and families to find creative ways to help them understand and tell the stories of their lives and, where necessary, to help them to develop new stories that enable them to thrive within their communities.

About the Role

Coram Parenting and Creative Therapies Service are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to work as part of our team for three days a week for a minimum of six months; one of these days must be a Wednesday. The post holder will support the work undertaken by the whole service, in particularly, leading on and supporting the collection and evaluation of demographics, outputs and outcomes and helping to support our clinical database in remaining up to date and useful for the service. There will also be opportunities for clinical work alongside qualified and trainee therapists. The role will also include helping the service to raise its profile with stakeholders, including on digital platforms.

We particularly encourage applications from individuals with an interest in Clinical Psychology training and those from backgrounds traditionally under-represented in the field of Clinical Psychology.
