About specific entity

Coram Ambitious for Adoption is a Commissioned Voluntary Adoption and Regional Adoption Agency – with statutory adoption support services and family finding located in each relevant partner local authority, and part of the wider adoption services including recruitment and assessment and support located at the Coram Campus in London. Coram is a service with a long track record of serving children well and with outstanding ratings from Ofsted.

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to play a key role in in supporting current and future growth within our voluntary and regional adoption agency teams. You will oversee reporting for key processes and performance measures, work closely with Finance to manage income and reconciliation of Adoption Support Fund grants, and supervise a highly experienced team of administrators who support every step of the adoption process.

Within this role, you will have opportunities to support Coram’s Adoption Committee, to manage contact and projects with Coram’s IT, HR, Finance, Communications and other departments, and to ensure Coram Adoption’s data and documentation are accurate and compliant with Ofsted regulations and Coram’s Quality Assurance Framework.

You should have excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team of managers. Experience of implementing and maintaining administrative systems and an understanding of the statutory framework for Adoption is essential
