About the role
We are seeking a capable and committed IV coordinator to help deliver Coram Voice?s Independent Visitors service in Shropshire. This role requires a children?s rights champion who has the skills, experience and values to work effectively with the full diversity of the children and young people needing our advice and support.
This is a great opportunity to deliver a positive and rewarding service which makes a real difference to the children and young people they work with. We want someone who enjoys working with children and young people, likes a challenge and wants to make a real contribution to a vital service that brings positive change to the lives of the children and young people. We need a capable supervisor and coordinator who comes from a background of working with children and young people in a range of settings and has the ability to develop good inter-agency relationships.
Coram Voice particularly welcomes applications from care leavers or individuals with experience of being ?looked after? by the state. We are also actively encouraging applicants from Asian, African, Caribbean and other minority ethnic backgrounds to join our teams. Whilst we have a diverse team we recognise we are a predominantly white workforce and are genuinely committed to encouraging candidates from diverse communities in order to improve the services to the children and young people we help.
