Job Description

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Coram was established by Royal Charter in 1739, as the UK’s first children’s charity. We have been transforming lives for 280 years from our distinctive three-acre campus a short walk away from King’s Cross and Russell Square. With some 400 employees, Coram is a progressive and responsive group of charities advancing contemporary practice to create better chances for children.

The Finance Department has a primary responsibility to protect the assets of Coram group of charities through the maintenance and development of a systematic process for financial control and review.The Department provides accurate, timely and meaningful financial and management information that enables the Board and Senior Management Team to make effective decisions regarding the strategic direction of the charity.

About the role

As Coram’s Management Accountant you will maintain and produce accurate monthly financial accounts and financial information on all contracts and grant funded projects to Heads of Service and the Senior Management Team and to contribute to the work of the annual audit.
