Contract: Permanent, Part Time (3 or 4 days a week)

Coram is the UK’s first-ever children’s charity, founded by Thomas Coram in 1739 in London which today help’s children to feel safe and loved, and to access the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.We help some of the most vulnerable children to have better chances in life.

About the role

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager based in Thurrock. The Project Manager will build and manage a comprehensive, integrated and effective menu of support services for families with a particular emphasis on parenting support, which will both complement and strengthen the existing Thurrock provision.

You will be confident and articulate with the ability to establish strategic relationships with commissioners and local partners to benefit hard to reach families. A key focus of the role will be ensuring the service provides added value throughout the lifetime of the project.

To be successful, you will have a minimum qualification of DipSW, CQSW or equivalent social work qualification, with experience of setting up and establishing new services within a social care environment. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
